Went to the canteen upon reaching sch today to get ba chor mee. I think this is the last day before canteen closes for renovation until aug next year. Had to get tt last taste. Was gleeful to see that there was no one q-ing, but as things go, some guy steps up right in front of me to get a to-go. Fine. So there I was waiting, and this guy's hallmate comes along and says, "呃，幫我叫多４碗打包." And this is after glancing at me, the ONLY OTHER person standing in line not 2ft behind tt idiot in front. I mean, there's only ONE OTHER PERSON IN LINE CAN'T YOU WAIT???? And the ba chor mee stall aunty made like 4 of his 5 orders before she decided to take my 超不悅表情 into acct (prob she didn't notice busy as she was making the 4 bowls of mee). The guy in front of me still had the cheek to look back at me after I tsked loudly enough and gave him the irritated face. Good lor. I KNOW WHICH HALL YOU COME FROM U KRH IDIOTS!!!! *BISH*
After settling down to dig in, I opened the packaging of the chopsticks and this is what I see...

Mid-term break!

Finally! Ok, not as if I haven't been living a slack life. Yet for some reason, tho my slping patterns and duration remain the same, I've had a headache the past 2 days, and it was so annoying yesterday I kept falling aslp in class jus to escape the throb.

Well, the mid-term break is here, but I've still 1 paper to hand up tmr that I haven't started. Grrs. Even if it's 500w, it's still some work man. This is getting irritating, these short papers/projs. But I'd take papers over presentations any day man.. hoo.. esp those research projects masquerading as presentations. And this is for film mod - yay. But the rest are starting to come in, seeing as the mid-term break marks also the beginning of the second i.e. more stressed part of the sem. Darn. Just getting used to uni life and gradding soon. Papers for 2 lvl4000s ("Oh, you can write up to 20 pgs, it doesn't matter."), presentations for the other (yes, more than one), the rest of the mini-projs for film, then there's the paper for imperial hy as well as the mid-term test, and not least of all the med mod looming in the very near, very dreary future. Still half lost in the philo class, tho these past couple have been not too bad because of the art/culture aspect to the discussion which I can sorta bs abt haha.

And, note to S: you're not a scummette because you get to go on a wonderful hol during the week's break, you're a scummette because you can get on dean's list rather effortlessly. Muahahaha. Hope you're having fun if you happen to see this while there! =)

Wonder what the next few days will bring. Should be over rather painlessly. Better be illuminating.

Fumbled through the presentation just now. I absolutely detest presentations. Plus on that topic. There's a reason why I take the major I do, you know. Everytime after presentations like that I want to dig a hole and hide. Crap. CRAP!

Then there's the philo class I sat through without being able to make any linkages from philosopher to philosopher. Just know that that are really diabolical thinkers in philosophy, who are out to get u through the use of convoluted chunks of big words. I'm waiting for Critchley's A Very Short Introduction to Continental Philosophy to at least make some sense of the past 4 weeks.

Thursdays are rotten days. Weds are rotten too because they lead into Wednesdays. >:|
